CASSETTE & INSET STOVES

Alex and Troy did an excellent job of installing our Parkway Aspect 5 wood-burning stove. They were very focused, professional, tidy and of good quality workmanship - such attention to detail. I highly recommend. The job involved removing an old gas fire and the Victorian cast iron surround, removing the rubble and mess behind it, cleaning up and repointing the bricks, replacing any bricks which were broken or damaged with matching bricks, re-rendering/plastering, installing lighting, inner slate hearth slab to match existing front slate hearth, slate panelling around wood surround, making good around the edges of the wooden fire surround and then installing the multi-fuel stove. We had flue lining installed already, so that wasn’t needed for this installation. Alex came back a few days later to test the fire and show us how to get the best heat and efficiency from it. He clearly knows his subject and was so reassuring throughout the whole process from his initial visit to final installation. Great job :-))
